Here’s a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join the friendly team at First Response Group.

Description of the Role

The Operations Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations of the portfolio, and the rostering of staff. They will build, improve, and maintain relationships with clients, employees, and stakeholders, as well as being responsible for:

  • Ensuring operational excellence. Delivering a safe and successful security service for our clients, as well as fostering an environment of Inclusion and Happiness for the team.
  • The development and retention of staff is a key part of the role, you will need to coordinate with required support services and solve problems to effectively run your allocated portfolio and provide quality customer service.

Main Function of the job

  • Build and sustain strong and long-lasting relationships with our clients and maintain frequent contact with your senior team.
  • Protect the integrity, security, and safety of the sites within your portfolio, its employees, guests, and visitors.
  • Deliver the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate the core values of First Response Group.
  • Develop the team in terms of career development and further learning to ensure First Response Group can provide best-in-class service.
  • Be the main point of contact and liaison across all areas of service delivery, contract performance, and strategic development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, identify, and create productivity and efficiency savings across the account for the benefit of the customer and First Response Group, utilising the expertise available across the wider businesses
  • Ensure that the customer is provided with coherent and professional statistics in relation to contract performance
  • Take responsibility and initiative in the smooth-running of all business operations
  • Liaise with other departments, including finance, to ensure operations budgets are maintained
  • Provide outstanding leadership to team members, including the management of the training and development matrix, to maximise work output and work quality
  • Identify patterns and problem areas and implement effective solutions to increase efficiency
  • Ensure policies and procedures documented for the contract, are relevant, and are followed in line with requirements
  • Recruit and select the best staff available to maintain high levels of service to the client
  • Provide accurate and timely information for the preparation of reports and planning
  • Ensure effective management support is provided within the KPI requirements, minimising associated risks to the company and to the customer
  • Ensure compliance with legal, company, and contractual obligations, such as the GDPR, Health and Safety at Work Act, procedures outlined in the company handbook, and the Assignment Instructions

This Operations Manager role would suit candidates with an SIA licence and previous management experience.

Additional Information

This Operations Manager role is a full-time position with variable hours to suit the demands of the role. You must be able to work days, nights, and weekends.
