Position Overview:

This is a great opportunity for a dynamic Operations Leader to take the next step in an exciting career in Logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimising our entire logistics operations, comprising of 80 vehicles, 100+ drivers and local warehousing.

Your Mission:

• Full compliance with safety and industry legislation.
• Inspire and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure high-quality service and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of successfully optimising logistics operations, reducing costs, and improving efficiency.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• CPC Holder with in-depth knowledge of logistics and distribution management principles, software systems, and industry best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
