Administrative Services
provides support services to ZS professionals as they complete their work. The administrative services team provides administrative support, travel-planning operations, catering coordination and facilities management.


OPERATIONS ASSISTANT - TRAVEL

We seek an experienced and organized Travel Assistant for our London, UK office. The Travel Assistant provides travel logistics support to domestic and international travelers within an office. The position reports to the Meeting & Travel Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Research, book and issue domestic and international airline tickets/travel for employees and recruits who travel for internal purposes;
  • Scan shared inbox for employees not traveling on preferred vendors, research alternatives and propose options that make sense;
  • Work with internal stakeholders to provide process improvements for the way travel is booked;
  • Communicate program enhancements to the administrative assistants;
  • Maintain travel vendor relationships through weekly or monthly calls and emails;
  • Analyze data and make recommendations on maximizing market share;
  • Attend trainings and seminars as necessary with preferred vendors and professional industry networking organizations;
  • Fill in for Meetings team as needed;
  • Maintain expertise knowledge of ZS Travel Guidelines to remain abreast of travel industry trends, technologies and nuances of travel vendors
    • Travel benefit programs and perks
    • Emerging travel technologies
    • Airline fare classes and cabin structures
    • City and State travel jurisdiction

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • Background in HTM desirable;
  • A zest for travel;
  • Computer fluency with MSOffice (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Forms and Outlook), SAP, Chrome River, and Concur desirable;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Attention to detail, dependability/punctuality;
  • Proactive self-starter with ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Experience working both independently and with a team in a demanding environment;
  • Positive outlook and sense of humor a must.

ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
