Location: Leicester
Salary: £22,000 dependent on experience

You will assist the Operations Director in leading, managing, executing and coordinating all Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety including general repairs and compliance), HR controls and ISO activities. In addition, the role will also involve first-line I.T. support, I.T. installations and I.T. maintenance.
This role will give the successful candidate a varied role, lots of autonomy, project work and career progression.
The Role:

Operations
  • Assist the Operations Director with responsibility and auditing of the QA, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems

  • Implementing the requirements of the Management Systems

  • Attend site/fabricator/supplier visits in the UK as required

  • Administrate the Approved Vendors List

  • Administrate the company`s health and safety statistics and records

  • Compile DSE Assessments and Records

  • Carry out Contractor/Visitor Inductions

  • Undertake Workplace Inspections

  • Support the Operations Director with the Health and Safety aspects of Facilities Management

  • Assist in providing information for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires

  • General documentation administration of departmental templates and form

  • IT Systems
  • Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems and other technologies, such as communication systems.

  • Configuring hardware and software, setting up peripherals such as printers or routers, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users.

  • Answering internal queries regarding the computer network or communication systems.

  • Liaising with the external IT Support Company as required.

  • Writing reports, tracking inventory, evaluating new technologies, negotiating contracts with vendors, and developing contingency plans in case of network failure.

  • knowledge of management systems and best practices.

  • knowledge of I.T. systems including hardware, software and basic problem solving

  • Confident using Microsoft Office suite

  • Ability to work independently

  • Good communication skills

  • `Can do` attitude and ability to get the job done

  • A practical and proactive person

  • Health & Safety experience is beneficial

  • Previous experience with maintaining/auditing Management Systems (9001, 14001, 18001 etc.) would be preferred but not essential. Relevant training will be giving to the right candidate.
