The Role and Team

apetito Services is an energetic business unit making approximately 3,500 deliveries a day from 14 sites 365 days a year. The meals on wheels market is rapidly changing and this role reporting into the Commercial and Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting the operation through a period of change.

In this varied role, you will be mostly Home Based covering all of the apetito Services depots (Warwickshire, Milton Keynes, Gloucestershire, Aylesbury, Hampshire, Hillingdon & West Sussex) working with drivers, depot management, senior management, external providers and customers.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day to day functional support to the Services Central Team.
  • Provide Leadership to the team of Service Centre Managers / Sales & Contract(s) Managers.
  • Ensure operational excellence across the division using resources in line with budget requirements.
  • Assist with the fulfilment of project briefs in full, on time and to budget.
  • Support the management of all vehicle and property contractors.
  • Maintain and assist with the review of company documentation and statistics.
  • Work with management to drive efficiency and quality of service.
  • Develop relationships with the apetito Services team and other functional teams across apetito.
  • Vehicle and premises audits.
  • Ensuring all sites are legally compliant.
  • Sourcing and management of builders and building maintenance providers.
  • Chefmobil vehicle training for both internal and external customers.
  • Support the operational management of our chosen vehicle partner & repair agent.
  • Controlling PO authorisations & recharges.
  • Attending client review meetings.
  • Deputising for the Commercial & Operations Manager.
  • Covering Service Centre Manager vacancies / holidays.
