An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Joint Community Rehabilitation Service (JCR) - with teams in EHS, Hastings & Rother & HWLH - supporting the delivery of excellent patient care as an Operational Support Officer. You will be computer literate and have very strong knowledge and practical skills in Microsoft Office applications. Previous experience of managing people is essential as this post will deputise for operational leads and support management of the clinical teams. Knowledge and practical experience in NHS electronic systems such as Datix, Meridian / Assure , Healthroster and SystmOne would be beneficial. Ability to drive to support rural locations is essential. Being practically minded and open to change will support you in the changing demands of the daily running of our service.The Community Rehabilitation Services includes Community Stroke & JCR team who treat people in their own homes. JCR provides reablement & rehabilitation to people with a variety of ages & conditions (eg Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease & orthopedic conditions). We deliver a 7-day service & share working weekends & Bank Holidays.Previous experience of managing people is essential as this post will deputise for operational leads & support management of clinical teams. Knowledge & practical experience in NHS electronic systems eg Datix, Meridian / Assure , Healthroster & SystmOne would be beneficial.You will supervise Admin Band 4, 3 & 2 staff & it is a cross site role within East Sussex. Ability to drive to support rural locations is essential. Being practically minded & open to change will support you in the changing demands of the daily running of our service.You will support teams in their objectives to provide excellent care to our patients through service improvement projects, so experience of audit & service improvement projects would be advantageous. The post holder will be required to collate, monitor & present information.
