The post holder’s main role will be the pro-active management of existing and future Business Intelligence products (Qlik) to ensure they are organised in an effective manner and continually assessed so that they remain fit for purpose, required etc. They will also provide training and raise awareness of the Qlikview/Qliksense products initially to Information staff and then to expand to Division and Corporate areas. They will be expected to work with existing information analysts based in the Business Intelligence team to ensure a comprehensive informatics support across the hospital. The post holder will be expected to take on a lead role in the provision of information products used to support CHFT operational performance in line with recovery and with the wider performance management framework of the Trust.
  • Provide support to the Head of Quality Performance and the Head of Operational Performance through the management of Business Intelligence products (Qlik)
  • Establish means of marketing/raising awareness of Business Intelligence Products (KP+ Streams) to users
  • Provide intelligence on performance, interpret highly complex reporting requirements, and as required apply national policy to the development of new and existing Business Intelligence products (Qlik)
  • Contribute significantly to the development of a sustainable information and analysis service ensuring the Business Intelligence products (Qlikview/Qliksense) are robust and of a high standard.
  • Lead the development of reporting systems and the delivery of data, primarily working with the Performance and Intelligence Leads and customers from CHFT.
  • Assist clinical and service managers in the access and interpretation of the information.
The Business Intelligence Team is part of The Health Informatics Service and provides high quality information to a wide variety of end users including internal reports and external mandatory returns. This is an exciting opportunity to work with with a wide variety of operational users at CHFT to move forward the use of Business Intelligence products and drive self sufficiency of users .
