Esland are embarking on an exciting period of growth and are therefore looking for a committed, diligent Registered Children’s Home Manager to join us on this journey.

This is the perfect role for a an experienced manager that wants to grow with an ever expanding company. If you meet the following essential requirements, we would love to hear from you:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children (within the last 5 years)
  • At least 1 year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or an accepted equivalent (or be close to completion of the qualification)
  • A full, UK driving licence
  • A thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and expectations, relevant legislation and Quality Standards

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our new solo service based in Huddersfield.

The successful candidate will have direct knowledge of what is expected by Ofsted and other authorities/regulatory bodies. The role will support all the home’s staff and external contacts to provide high quality residential care, education and other wrap around services, ensuring that they get the best outcomes for their young people.

We are passionate about promoting and encouraging independence and life skills for our young people, ensuring that their safety and well-being underpins every decision we make.

Candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
