Skyports is the leading owner and operator of vertiports to enable electric air taxi operations in a number of cities around the world, with the first commercial flights planned for 2024. We also operate Skyports Drone Services which provides drone solutions for logistics (including maritime and rural), survey and surveillance. Role overview

We have an opportunity for an Office Manager to work across both Skyports Infrastructure and Skyports Drone Services, supporting on administration and business operations across our three key markets of EMEA, USA and APAC.

Based in the London office, we are looking for a helpful, organised, adaptable individual to report directly to the Chief of Staff and work on all operational and administrative business matters. The following Job Spec provides an overview of the responsibilities that you will have although these responsibilities are not exhaustive and will evolve as the business grows.

Your role will transverse various functional areas including;

Office Management:

  • Oversee the general office management including purchasing office supplies and equipment including mobile phones, company stash and business cards
  • Setting up rooms for any meetings that take place within the office space including ordering catering
  • Co-ordinating the team weekly lunch order

Administration:

  • Co-ordinating appointments and meetings on behalf of various team members
  • Assisting with travel bookings using our internal software
  • Assist with policy management
  • Dealing with couriers and post

Finance:

  • Work in collaboration with the finance team on finance related administration including managing the expenses process and processing invoices and receipts.

People:

  • Support on employee engagement initiatives including the employee wellbeing survey
  • Organisation of events and socials
  • Manage our recruitment portal and support with recruitment including developing and posting job specifications and CV screening
  • Support with the employee onboarding and offboarding process

Please note, this is not an exhaustive list and you will be required to be adaptable and turn your hand to any tasks necessary to support the successful running of the business

Requirements

  • 2+ years business experience ideally working as an office manager or business operations executive within a fast-paced, fast-growing start-up
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A highly motivated, self-starter and team-player who likes a challenge and has the ingenuity and resilience to find the solutions to overcome them
  • An interest in technology, aviation and/or real estate
  • Being comfortable navigating through ambiguity as this is a new industry and no one yet has all the answers
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to use initiative to find a better way to do things
  • Embraces opportunities to learn new skills and take on new tasks whenever they arise
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to ‘muck in’ to whatever project or task that requires your support
