A.T. Brown are over 100 years old and are the largest and best known Coach Operator in the Telford area. Since 2021 they have been part of the Award Winning Lakeside Coaches group (The largest independent operator in Shropshire and the West Midlands) who have a group fleet of 120 coaches and 150 staff and are on an exciting journey as they grow together.

This is a fulltime position but thought maybe given to those requiring a term time only role.

Duties

- Manage the administration of the Telford office under your own leadership
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the General and Operations Managers

- Take ownership of the inbox and incoming sales calls to promptly enter data on to our CRM system. Providing excellent email and phone etiquette and customer service as an absolute must and is the key strength in the role.

- Present all booking enquiries to the Director for pricing and then promptly turnaround quotes to customers.

- Convert accepted quotations to confirmed bookings and process all necessary documentation including invoicing and receipts.

- Monitor the scheduling diary to maximise resource utilisation and exploit obvious efficiencies.

- To deal with client queries prior to booking and also post sales events such as lost property and feedback.
- Perform associated clerical and administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping

- Deal with the administration of our home to work and home to school contracts; weekly invoicing, parental, service user and account holder queries.

- Monitor our online retail bus pass sales systems reports and deal with user queries

- Liaise with head office accounts re. sales ledger
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Maintain a professional office environment and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Get depot purchase invoices signed off before presenting to head office purchase ledger.

Requirements

- Proven experience in an administrative or office management role

- Must be able to manage own workload and enjoy working the majority of time under your own supervision and motivation
- Strong team player and work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in clerical and administrative tasks
- Knowledge of office procedures and practices
- Familiarity with transport/travel industry or the local geography a bonus but not essential
- Organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
