Are you a compassionate, skilled healthcare professional with a passion for providing exceptional care to individuals living with dementia? We are currently looking for a dedicated Nursing Home Manager in Swansea to join a family run provider in their 62 bed nursing and residential home.

Our client believes that every individual deserves the highest quality of care and support. They have a state-of-the-art service in Swansea which is designed to create a warm and welcoming environment, promoting dignity, comfort, and independence for all residents. As the Nursing Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that residents receive person-centered care, tailored to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of skilled nurses, caregivers, and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Develop and implement care plans and protocols specific to individuals living with dementia, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Conduct comprehensive assessments and regular reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets regulatory standards.

Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support.

Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in dementia care, implementing innovative strategies to enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Maintain accurate documentation, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Requirements:

Valid NMC PIN and or previously managed a Nursing Home

Proven experience in managing a nursing home or dementia care unit, ideally with a minimum of 2 years.

Comprehensive understanding of dementia and its impact on individuals, coupled with a strong knowledge of person-centered care.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Sound understanding of regulatory frameworks, including CIW standards, and a commitment to upholding best practices.

Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage resources effectively.
