Copperfields Day Nursery is looking for a full time Nursery Manager to join our well established setting and lead our amazing team.

This is a fantastic role opportunity for someone who would like to support and lead passionate practitioners. Our setting is warm, stimulating and a happy environment for all. This ensures the children in our care thrive, feel safe, secure and are settled within the setting.

Our Manager will need:

  • A minimum of a level 3 qualification with at least 2 years experience in a nursery setting and have managerial experience.
  • To be passionate about delivering high standards of care
  • To instill a love of learning to our team and children at the setting
  • To create an effective parent partnership
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Relevant safeguarding training and be willing to update training regularly

The Manager will be responsible for:

  • The day to day running of the setting
  • Managing, leading and supporting the staff team
  • Ensuring high standards of quality care
  • Ensuring all legal and statutory requirements are fulfilled, including Ofsted
  • Working closely with Nursery Owner on all aspects of the nursery

The position is working full time between the hours of 7-45a.m and 6.15p.m on a shift basis each week. The nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year only closing on bank holidays and a week at Christmas.

The salary for this position will be dependant upon experience and qualification. The position does benefit from childcare discounts, company pension, holidays increasing with length of service and performance related benefits.
