Salary: £13-£15.50 per hour | Depending on experience

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a wide range of Nurseries based in Wandsworth. All the Nurseries we work with provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children placed in the setting.

Teacheractive is looking to take on a driven Nursery Assistant on a temporary part time basis inWandsworth. If Successful, you will be working in either the baby room, toddler room or pre-school room. Your fundamental role is to help deliver an excellent standard of care to young children. The ideal candidate should be flexible and willing to work either 8am - 18:00pm, 9am 18:00pm or 8am - 5:30pm.

All Applicants Will Need To Have
  • A childcare Level 2/3 qualification
  • A minimum of 6 months experience caring for children aged between 0-5 years (including babysitting or nannying)
  • Experience working in a Nursery setting
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • A calm, patient, and caring persona
  • Good communication skills
All our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard-earned cash.
