Depending on which sector you chose, you may be expected to perform the following tasks:
  • Administer medications
  • Help prepare and encourage residents to make healthy meals
  • Assist individuals in chosen local amenities such as activities, hobbies, cafes, and shops
  • Assist individuals with making and attending health appointments.
  • Help encourage and arrange day trips
  • Personal care
  • Light housekeeping duties
  • Daily note keeping Key Role Requirements:

  • Understand and implement the companies visions and objectives Essentials:
  • Up-to-date DBS on the update service, this role is subject to an enhanced DBS.
  • Nurse active PIN
  • Good sense of humor A good understanding of anything listed: Positive Behaviour Support (ABC), PBM training, Introduction to: (Learning Disabilities, Autism, Behaviours that challenge, Dementia, Complex needs, Mental Health), Manual Handling, Communication, Risk Assessments, Incident Reports, Health and Safety, Infection Control, First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding Vulnerable Children/Adults, DOLS, Mental Capacity Act, Support Planning, Professional Boundaries, Equality & Diversity, Person Centred Approaches, Fire Safety, “We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment."
