Role Description:
We are seeking Nurse Prescribers IP on a full-time, permanent basis serving the local domestic market of Wokingham within a 10-mile radius.
You will be required to drive from visit to visit, utilising one of our own vehicles, providing services similar to a GP practice within the customers’ home.
This opportunity offers a refreshing change, with only 32 hours per week while providing higher salaries compared to the NHS.

Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer treatments and medications as per protocols and training.
- Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, documenting patient information, assessments, and treatment details.
- Medical Equipment and Supplies: Ensure proper maintenance and organisation of medical equipment and supplies, conducting regular checks and stock replenishment.
- Adherence to Protocols and Regulations: Follow established medical protocols, safety guidelines, and legal requirements while providing patient care.
- Patient Education: Provide appropriate education and guidance to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, preventive measures, and post-care instructions.
- Continuous Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training, conferences, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be registered with NMC and possess completed NMC Independent Nurse Prescribing Course (v200 or v300), with registration as an IP.
- Excellent knowledge of emergency medical procedures, trauma care, and medical equipment usage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using technology and electronic medical record systems.
- It is essential to hold a valid driving license for use in UK, with a maximum of three penalty points.
