NURSE - BRIDPORT - £18.50 ph

Working within a medium size care home rated ’good’ which strongly believes in delivering holistic care to each resident. The home offers a calm and friendly atmosphere for both employees and residents and your continued contribution as a nurse to maintaining/developing this will be invaluable.

The home offers 24/7 nursing care and requires a nurse to undertake the day shifts at the home, 36 to 48 hours per week, you will occasionally be required to work nights to cover holiday/sickness within the team.

The Ideal Candidate For The Nurse Position In Bridport
  • Nurse (RGN) with active PIN
  • Previous experience in providing holistic nursing care to residents
  • Committed to acting in line with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining registration requirements;
  • As the nurse on shift, you will be responsible for the overall management and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed in line with their job roles in an efficient and effective way,
  • Carry out nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Good communication and team working skills
  • Confident in managing own workload to ensure that the interests of residents are met
  • Passionate about providing care to each resident including end of life care
