We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Global Insurance organisation within their Medical Assistance department who are looking for a Registered Nurse to join their growing team working in the Portsmouth office with hybrid work available once training is completed.As a Nurse Coordinator you will be responsible for providing emergency medical support, triage and treatment to travelers on a global basis who have encountered a medical issue. No day will be the same, every case will be totally different in a different part of the world. You could deal with a heart attack patient in China whilst managing a critical ski accident in France, making decisions on how to respond quickly and accurately to provide the best appropriate care.This role will be working in a team of 14 Nurses and Doctors and will be supported by a multilingual Medical Assistance team who provide non medical support to customers and support with all worldwide logistics.Experience -- NMC registration is essential
  • Min 5 years port reg experience which must of been in acute setting - A&E, ICU, ITU
  • Experience gained within a Medical Assistance/Flight/Case Management role also desirable but not essential
    • Hours - Part time OR Full time hours available. Hours cover Mon - Sun shifts between 8am - 8pmSalary - Competitive basic salary on offer + 25% uplift for Saturdays or 50% uplift for Sundays & bank holidays + benefitsIf you are tired of working in a hospital setting and being on the front line then this could be the PERFECT next opportunity for you
