The Senior Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the successful delivery and profitability of both internal and client projects. You will manage teams of systems, network, telecom, and desktop engineers, as well as third-party vendors, to ensure that the projects are delivered on time and on budget. The PM will handle multiple projects at a time and shall be able to work in fast paced environments. This role requires extensive experience in ensuring optimal project delivery of IT Solutions and possess proven Project Management capabilities.

Responsibilities and Objectives

  • Overall quality, budget, and schedule control for all projects. Projects such as, but not limited to; new client onboard, M365, private/hybrid/public cloud platform buildout & migrations, office relocation etc.
  • Manage multiple projects at a time and prioritise workload within the group, to ensure that project timelines are met.
  • Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management and technical leads.
  • Prepare project plans to co-ordinate and track work.
  • Produce client project reports for external and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and inform management of items deemed to be outside of the Statement of Work to avoid scope creep.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and exceed business expectations.
  • Ensure the project team is adequately resourced to achieve project goals.
  • Motivate the project team to achieve goals through effective leadership, planning and communication.
  • Ensure project closure is done to a high standard for the handover to BAU teams, and also a full project review.
  • Communicate with the client and project team on a regular basis.
  • Regularly conduct both internal and external project meetings.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is in place for specific support requirements.
  • Manage contract negotiations on behalf of clients with third party vendors.
  • Manage project related escalations from Edge’s support team.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and pass along to Business Development staff.
  • Work with all functions and technical teams within Edge as needed to improve customer service and team communication.
  • Ensure project tickets are closed on time and with high customer satisfaction.

Core Requirements and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of project management experience.
  • PMI CAPM and/or PRINCE2 Foundation advantageous
  • Knowledge of Cloud, Network & Security enterprise solutions are a plus.
  • Technology Infrastructure Project experience including; infrastructure, Azure/AWS, network, telephony, endpoint device, application, and HS/SW installation support, office moves.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise workload, manage tasks, and follow through to completion.
  • Excellent presentation and meeting leader skills.
  • Able to prepare and present technical information in business terms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical clients.
