Are you an outgoing individual looking for a new opportunity? Are you a team player that is able to adapt to a fast paced working environment? Are you able to deliver great service ? Ibis Rotherham are looking for a multi skilled Nights Team Member to join the team.

We are looking to provide 30-40 hours per week as our hotel rota defines and working on a 4 days on and 4 days off shift pattern.

The Role Includes
  • Welcoming guests as soon as they arrive with a friendly attitude
  • Complete administrative procedures
  • Making reservations
  • Check in and out of guests
  • Anticipates guests’ needs and takes them into consideration
  • Has an impeccable attitude which conveys the image of the brand and hotel
  • Offers attentive service and adapts to any constraints guests may have
  • Establishes good relations with guests, offering advice and fostering customer loyalty
  • Promotes the Food and Beverage services
  • Preparation and service of Food and Beverage services including bar, 24/7 snacks and breakfast
  • Helps gain customer loyalty through the high standard of service
  • Provides a friendly and personal welcome for guests and remains attentive to their needs
  • Completes all tasks linked to the guest’s arrival and departure in compliance with internal procedures
  • Informs guests about any particular conditions or formalities during the stay, and about the services offered by the hotel
  • Handles phone calls
  • Passes information on as necessary to other departments (floor staff, technical etc) and to other members of the front-desk team
  • Ensures that all the documents, products and provisions needed for the department and/or guests are available and up-to-date
  • Ensures the working areas are clean
  • Creating a safe and secure environment and ensuring the hotel is secure
The role of a multi skilled team member at Ibis Rotherham requires a flexible approach as the hour of work will be during the night shift and as a business we operate 24 hours a day , 365 days a year. The role will focus upon welcoming of hotel guests along with working in other departments therefore a flexible, multi-skilled approach and attitude is essential. The welcome of guests, serving of breakfast, preparation of snacks and meals, service on the bar are the key tasks within the role.
