Night Shift Van Loader

£21263 + Attendance and Performance Bonus

Hours - This is a full time role and the hours are 12.00am to 8.45am Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

The Essence of The Role

This role includes the loading of customers orders onto th fleet of vans and to ensure the vans are loaded in an organised fashion. General warehouse tasks such as picking and cleaning will also be required.

Scope of the Van Loader

  • To provide support to your supervisor and manager and cover their role when necessary
  • Assist in running efficient and productive operations to hit and exceed targets
  • Van loading in accordance with operating procedures
  • Sorting and organising manifest
  • Checking orders against the daily manifest
  • Tasks involving manual handling techniques

Prerequisites

  • You must be reliable and a hard-working team player
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred but full training will be given
  • Good numeracy skills including accurate counting are essential
  • Must be capable of handling weights up to 25kgs
  • Ability to work in a team or alone with minimal supervision
  • Must be willing to work overtime as required
  • Immediately available where possible
