There you’ll be maintaining static plant equipment to make sure everything runs smoothly. You’ll have a proactive approach, fixing problems before they arise, to make sure there is little disruption to workflow. They’re an ambitious international business, so they always want their staff to contribute to improvement projects, to benefit both themselves and the company. And above everything, your role as a Night Shift Electrician will mean adhering to strict health and safety regulations.At CEMEX they have a great working environment, so if you want it, this could be a job for life. On your night shifts, you’ll be working with a great team of 5, who work hard but know when to crack out a joke or two. As previously mentioned, they’re an ambitious company, so they’d like to see you strive for excellence too.Working night shifts, you’ll benefit from 4 days off after 4 days on, giving you plenty of time for extracurricular activities and seeing friends and family. Your working pattern will be 4 on 4 off shifts, 18:15-06:15. What they’re looking for…
Electrical Apprenticeship or HNC/ HND/ NVQ Minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideallyExperience working within a quarry/heavy engineering environmentExperience working on various plant equipmentExperience of fault finding and maintenancePrevious experience of shift work, ideallyPrevious experience of working in an environment where health and safety is paramount
