An opportunity has arisen for to work within Derbyshire ICB as a Commissioning Manager in Planned Care but working across the Derbyshire system in the delivery and implementation of projects which support the national and local planned care agenda.

The successful candidate will have a specific focus on supporting the Derbyshire system on the NHS e-Referral Service and this exciting role comes with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.

Key Area Of Responsibility For The Post Holder Will
  • Lead on the on-going business support of the NHS e-Referral Service Derbyshire wide
  • Build strong relationships with the many Providers the system covers;
  • Give direction to the Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board to ensure maximum utilisation of the NHS e-Referral Service;
  • Work to ensure that staff understand and develop effective and efficient processes to enable the NHS e-Referral Service to be used to its full potential;
  • Represent Derbyshire at national, regional and local meetings and user groups for the NHS e-Referral Service;
  • Lead on the deployment of national and local NHS e-Referral Service initiatives on behalf of the Derbyshire system.
More Generally, The Post Holder Will Also
  • Support the strategic and operational areas of Planned Care in association with other key individuals including working with contracting, procurement, finance, performance and intelligence teams;
  • Support the Head of Planned Care working with the wider system in the delivery of planned care including performance and financial delivery of transformation plans in line with the strategy;
  • Lead the delivery of transformation projects for the Derbyshire system, working with primary and secondary care clinicians to deliver new pathways and clinical models which improve patient experience and contribute to the NHS Long Term Plan.
