Position - Newly Qualified Speech and Language Therapist

About the job - You will be delivering individualised communication interventions within a college setting that supports people with Autism and other social, emotional and mental health needs.

Location - A beautiful rural location near Cranbourne in Dorset

Salary - £16,888.00

Hours - 32 hours per week (8 hours per day) - 4 days per week- Term Time Only

Maternity Cover until Feb 2022

About the Service - The Service is genuinely fantastic. It is a further College that supports people with anxiety, autism and other social and emotional needs. They have a totally individualised approach that ensures they are meeting the needs of every young person who attends.

Type of person required - Someone who is able to work within a multi-disciplinary team with assistance to provide the best care possible. You should be positive and confident in your ability to assist others in adapting their approach to meet the communication needs of their students.

Experience And Qualifications

You must be a qualified Speech and language Therapist and registered with the RCSLT and HCPC.

Previous experience supporting students with social communication difficulties is beneficial.

Experience working with children with ASD and social anxiety difficulties.
