Our client is a well-established, highly reputable law firm based in Mansfield. They are currently looking for a New Build Legal Assistant to join them in their Residential Property team. The firm focus on excellent client care, and due to their strong reputation in the area and therefore increased workload they are now looking to expand their New Build department.

The Opportunity

You will be assisting on a wide range of New Build Conveyancing transactions and supporting a qualified Conveyancer in a one-on-one role. You will get the chance to assist on the files whilst using your initiative to take over some aspects of the transaction, allowing you to constantly expand your knowledge. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career within a team of specialists and take that experience to their next firm.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

  • Experience gained within a Conveyancing Department is essential
  • Knowledge of Residential Conveyancing procedures, documentation and searches
  • The ability to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Good time management skills, the ability to manage your own workload, meet deadlines and work on files in the Department
  • Preparing draft contracts
