Summary Of Key Responsibilities/deliverables

In this role you will take ownership and accountability for the delivery of customer build, to include building installation and/or spine delivery across an allocated delivery pipeline. You will be managing the utilisation of and productivity of assigned engineering resources, together with the management and performance of appointed business partners. Ensuring successfully delivery of the required unit installs, to cost and quality, enabling the programme to successfully deliver live units to achieve the business Homes Passed targets.

What will you be doing?
  • Planning - Working with the New Build Operations manager to gauge and prioritise the pipeline within the SDU model within your region to Minimising revisits and increasing efficiency.
  • Fibre Delivery - Working with the Fibre delivery team to prioritise and drive volume of fibre delivery required within your sites. Resulting in achieving build targets with adherence to budgeted £/unit.
  • Network Installation - Working with field operations and network team to install network to achieve homes passed number within your region.
  • Ready for service and handover - Ensure sites are completed in a timely manager to achieve day 1 connectivity & reporting, owning, and managing delivery risks and issues, ensuring resolution is sought and lessons learned are shared.
  • Communication - Liaising with stakeholders on a regular basis (at least weekly), regarding overall plan.
What are we looking for?
  • The ability to speak, read and write in English, and experience using Microsoft applications, Word and Excel, Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI)
  • Fibre cabling installations standards and guidelines experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of Construction & Engineering Health & Safety regulations
  • Awareness and experience of fibre telecommunication infrastructure delivery
  • Experience of structured cabling design and installation
  • Experience of, or be able to demonstrable the ability to own and deliver an allocated build pipeline, through the management of internal and/or external resources
  • Working knowledge of full fibre and PIA deployments
  • Results and solution driven
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Pragmatic, with an innovative approach to problem resolution
  • Motivator, and promoter of a positive, cohesive, and collaborative working environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and able to prioritise self and teams’ tasks in a logical and efficient manner
