Position: Network Design Engineer

The Network design engineer will be responsible for creating designs as part of site builds and Network Design Packs for project teams. IP and Optical networks understanding is mandatory.

Experience:

Technology layers for access and core networks (fibre, DWDM, PON, Ethernet, IP, MPLS, Wi-Fi), service layers including internet access, voice, VPNs.

At least 2 years’ experience of network architecture, design and test with a proven track record in delivery environments.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft application including Office 365
  • Visio
  • Juniper IP experience (desirable)
  • Nokia optics experience DWDM (desirable)
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, and other related fields.
