Parvez Consulting Ltd is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Network Delivery Planner to join our Fibre Build team in Northampton/London The role will be 8am – 5pm, desktop planning in our Northampton Office. We are looking for a Network Delivery Planner with either experience in the telecoms industry or within works planning. You need to Manage the Survey Teams. The Network Delivery Planner will support the performance of the planning team to deliver and plan against competitive targets set by our client. The post holder will work to capture and produce information from site, detailing all aspects of SDU, MDU and Business sites as well as network architectures. The post holder will then produce subsequent planning packs, in line with client specifications. Exceptional communication skills will be exercised, including taking regular conference calls and meetings and interacting with the public. Skills and Qualifications · Experience in a HFC and fibre planning environment. · Understanding of civils and cabling within the telecommunications industry · Computer literate with exceptional understanding of Microsoft applications · Outstanding communication skills · A positive and enthusiastic approach to work · Good organisation skills · Strong attention to detail · Effective customer and stakeholder management, including regular project updates clarifying project status as appropriate · An awareness and understanding of current health and safety procedures · Desirable – planning and surveying experience of homes and business What will you be doing? As a Network Delivery Planner, your core responsibilities will be – · Carry out detailed and quality survey work to guarantee all vital information is captured such as cable routing, network capabilities, civil engineering requirements, health and safety concerns and residential considerations. · Plan and design suitable civils and fibre optic infrastructure in a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose and future-proofed manner · Produce detailed industry-standard documentation of designs utilising GIS software, Microsoft Excel and Visio · Deliver accurate, timely and quality information allowing seamless development and delivery of network expansion to meet customer’s deadlines. · Own, execute and deliver planning and design requirements on behalf of the client · Create detailed job packs, including detailed design, cabinet sitting and costs · Progress reporting on planning work activities · Efficient communication and engagement with internal & external customers. · Completing quality checks on planning works to ensure it is to the required standard. · Uploading documents to company systems as and when necessary, in line with business requirements. · Meeting operational targets set by the management team. · Daily/Weekly submission of information to the management team in order to keep the client updated.
