Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Software Engineer with C#, ASP.Net Core, ReactJS & SQL skills to join our growing software development team. As a software developer, you will have a deep understanding of coding principles, understand object-oriented programming and appreciate the Agile development way of working. All developers are encouraged to consistently assist in innovation of the software development in terms of agility, DevOps and modern development technologies.

Job Responsibilities - Senior Software Developer
  • Writing and maintaining software in ASP.NET Core, C#, MS SQL, ReactJS and TypeScript
  • To actively participate in the development of the system in line with the team’s processes and procedures
  • To provide input into the design of the system and processes to enhance business performance
  • Participate in the technical specification and design process
  • To rectify software defects in a timely fashion as and when identified
  • Follow DevOps processes
  • Meet agreed delivery dates following Agile methodology
  • To participate in group sessions with the development team and directly with business stakeholders
  • To participate in the estimation of system developments
  • Delivering high quality unit tested products and following SOLID principles
  • Dealing with support issues with our solutions
  • Authoring of high-quality technical documentation
Essential Functions:
  • Proven commercial experience (minimum 5 years) in software development
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in developing applications using C# with .NET .Core
  • Using, querying and data structure creation with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Demonstrable experience in Unit Testing
  • Experience of implementing software design patterns
  • Knowledge about the software build process and DevOps related tasks
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills and Self-motivated
  • Ability to deal and work with people of all levels
  • Ability to adapt in dynamic situations
Our ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Developing in the web stack (minimum 2 years) with ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3 and TypeScript
  • Experience with Kendo ReactJS controls
  • Experience using Cloud Native CI/CD tools
  • Knowledge about GitLab and Git
  • Good understanding of JIRA & Confluence
  • Agile experience - Scrum
  • Experience in service oriented architectures
  • Building and consuming REST Web Services and service-oriented applications
  • Experience with object relational mapping such as Entity Framework
  • Knowledge in software security related questions and strategies
  • Experience in using development tools like Visual Studio.
