Job Description
This is a key customer facing role to manage one of our most important naval customers, including managing activities on a critical class of Royal Navy vessel. This role sits in our Naval Service Team which handles a variety of naval vessels worldwide and is focused upon ensuring they are maintained and remain in operation. You will act as the single point of contact for the client and be responsible for fulfilling a variety of different customer requests.
In This Role You Will Focus On
- Being the customer advocate and taking the lead role in dealings with multiple major Naval Service customers
- Managing the relationship with a major class of Royal Navy vessel as well as responsibility for conversion, modification and upgrade projects as required
- Managing the commercial, technical, and quality issues on multiple contractual arrangements
- Creating, maintaining, and driving progress against a plan
- Ensuring that all commercial procedures are observed and supporting the development of procedures and project management processes.
- Registering, compiling, submitting, and negotiating extensions of time, extras to contract and other claims as appropriate.
- Carrying out project reviews using SAP to control projects, check progress, manage cost, identify deviations from plan, detect risk and forecast future performance.

- Excellent customer service orientation and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- A willingness to work efficiently without direct supervision.
- Excellent communication at all levels (may be presenting or liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders).
- Good multi-tasking and time management skills.
- An understanding of key business financial procedures (invoicing/revenue recognition/debt management).
- Valid passport and driver’s license to meet travel requirements.
- Possession or ability to obtain SC security clearance.
- Successful candidates will be employed under local employment conditions and must already satisfy local employment/work permit and residency regulations.
