National Account Manager

Shepherd’s Bush office 2x a week

New investment, exciting growth plans has led to this newly created opportunities for an ambitious National Account Manager to join the team; you’ll be joining a lively team of individuals.

  • Managing your own diary and spending as much time as possible face to face ’virtually’ with customers
  • Building rapport with buyers and growing a strong network of contacts in order to maximise revenue and repeat business
  • Strong account management, identifying opportunities for category growth and new product sales
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with a number of these accounts
  • P&L management at national account level

You:

  • We’re looking to speak to switched on, intelligent individuals who can demonstrate success in managing wholesale and foodservice partners to date
  • Strong sales experience within an FMCG environment will be beneficial
  • You have strong relationship building skills with the ability to generate long-term business partnerships in an ever-changing product landscape
  • You are adaptable, likeable and career-driven
  • You’re a fast learner who is able to pick up new ideas and concepts quickly

The Company

Gu, the number one chilled dessert brand and pioneer in indulgence has grown 27% in the last two years, we are accelerating that growth even further.

Now under new ownership, we are embarking on the next era of the Gu Journey: we have a big growth agenda set for the next few years. Central to that will be investing in Gu and growing our range of treats to attract new customer to our category and drive category growth. Beyond the UK, we’re putting a lot into fulfilling our international growth agenda. Right now, we’re seeing more French customers buying our desserts more than ever before, which is a great opportunity for Gu. We’re also expanding Gu’s presence in Germany and the Netherlands.

We are proud of our history and remain focussed on bringing ‘firsts’ to the market – Gü was the first to launch a chocolate soufflé to the UK market; the first to sell desserts made with ganache; and the first to offer a melting middle dessert.
