Summary

We are seeking to appoint a Named Pupil Teaching Assistant and MDSA to support a child with an EHC plan at St John’s Catholic Primary School.

The successful candidate will be someone who
  • Has experience working with children who have complex special educational needs , including ASD
  • Is flexible and able to work collaboratively with other members of staff
  • Is an excellent communicator committed to being part of an effective team within the whole school community
  • Is patient and understanding when working with children
  • Is self-motivated and reliable
  • Has excellent behaviour management skills
  • Has a willingness to undertake training
  • Is enthusiastic with a good sense of humour

Salary

TA - Grade D/E depending on experience £18,933-£20,493 Per annum/pro-rata (£9.81-£10.62 per hour pro rata)

MDSA – Grade B £17,842-£18,198 Per annum/pro rata (£9.25-£9.43 Per hour/pro rata

Hours of work: 11 hours per week TA and 1 hour per week MDSA Part time worked on a Thursday and Friday in term time

Contract type: Specific Purpose
