    About The Role – Music Teacher

    I am currently working with this mainstream secondary school & sixth form who are looking for a Music Teacher to teach across KS3 in Years 7 and 8 and offer Eduqas GCSE for Year 9 and Edexcel GCSE Music in Year 10 & 11. Also in KS5 they teach BTEC Performing Arts course and the department works closely to both the Drama & Dance departments. This position is to start in September 2021. The successful candidate must have an educational background in music ie. Degree.

    About The School – Music Teacher

    The school is a comprehensive, mixed school for students aged 11-19. Their goal is to help young people achieve academic success and develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to become happy, successful adults. The music department has an assigned music classroom with 25 PCs and midi keyboards. They use Sibelius, Musescore & Bandlab software and have a subscription with Music First to support theoretical lessons. In addition to this, they also have 5 practice rooms, one which also doubles up as our recording studio as well as a specific music store room.
