Multi-Trade Engineer
We have an exciting opportunity for 1 new candidate to join a well-established company as a Multi-Trade Engineer. The Multi-Trade Engineer will be carrying out property maintenance work in private / tenanted & void dwellings, mainly in the London area and occasionally Essex.

Salary: £35,000 + Van & Package

Overview

We are looking to hire a Multi Trade Engineer to join the team to carry out property maintenance work in predominantly tenanted & void dwellings in the London areas. You will be required to work in other areas across Essex and Kent, as required.

You will be supplied a company vehicle, specialist tools, mobile phone, and all other items that will allow you to perform to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

General knowledge of the below will be needed, we promote & encourage personal skills development.
  • General plumbing issues on pressurized and gravity systems
  • General Carpentry
  • Roofing (mostly reactive small works but you may be helping our roofing teams from time to time)
  • uPVC windows & door fitting and overhauling
  • Painting & decorating
  • Void refurbishment
  • Appliance installs
  • Strip out works
  • Bathroom, Kitchen fitting
  • The ability to think and make a decision quickly is essential
  • PDA usage, paperwork (limited) & photo-taking of work before & after
Key Requirements
  • UK Driving License
  • No more than 6 points
  • Must be over 21 due to company insurance on company vans
  • The ideal candidate must be organized.
  • You must be able to solve problems quickly and effectively.
  • You will be required to manage your own van stock and materials and therefore will need to work methodically and allow time within your day to order and collect materials/parts.
  • The position is full-time Mon-Fri & 1 weekend day in a 4-week cycle & out of hours overtime.
  • 28 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays
