First Facilities Management are a Milton Keynes based facilities & maintenance business supporting clients both locally, and across the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated tradesperson to join our team, to support with project and maintenance-based works across our commercial client portfolio. Our Multi Skilled Technicians provide a mobile delivery of facilities support services across our client sites.

The role will be responsible for carrying out a range of general / fabric maintenance and business support tasks.

Main Duties to include:

  • Complete weekly & monthly planned maintenance tasks
  • Reactive and planned building fabric repairs, carpentry, plumbing and electrics
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned work orders
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies
  • Flexibility with work hours to allow the successful completion of works

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Have a core skill and industry recognised qualification in a trade related discipline
  • Ideally experienced in kitchen & bathroom fitting, carpentry, plumbing and electrics, preferably in a commercial environment
  • Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are made aware of work order progress in a timely manner
  • Proactively walk the floors, reporting any maintenance or H&S issues
  • Have a proactive approach to maintenance and building management
  • Personable and confident
  • “Fix it first time” attitude, limiting return visits
  • Must hold a full UK driver’s license
  • Based local to Milton Keynes, but be prepared to travel when required
  • Ability to record work accurately
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team
