GBR Recruitment are working in partnership with an interior fit out business (commercial, industrial & retail sector solutions) recruiting for an experienced NVQ / C&G qualified Multi Skilled Trades Team Leader with skills in Carpentry & Joinery work primarily, as well as additional experience in putting up metal partitions, drylining, suspended ceilings, taping & jointing within various client sites for bespoke purposes (office fit outs, shop fit outs etc.). This role is a varied position working totally different innovative finishes for the diverse portfolio of clients allowing you to fully utilise your array of trade skills producing a superb quality finish. The position will cover UK wide as well as more local work across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, South Yorkshire etc. a vast array of work is in the Midlands & East Midlands territories, but flexibility required as over night stays close to customers sites will be required (paid for at the company’s expense, plus meal allowance etc.). Duties will include the following:
  • Carpentry and joinery work
  • Installation of metal partitions and drylining
  • Suspended Ceiling installations
  • Taping and jointing Skills/Qualities:
  • 1st & 2nd Fix Joinery & Carpentry experience across varying projects / works
  • Interior Fit Outs experience would be beneficial but not a must have
  • Supervisory / Foreman / Team Leader experience in a similar role
  • Able to follow technical drawings to turn the concept into reality
  • Friendly and approachable as involves liaising effectively with clients & employees
  • Enthusiastic and able to work on own initiative
  • Be self-motivated and a team player
  • Excellent people skills
  • Good planning and organisational skills Required Qualifications:
  • Trade experienced with a relevant NVQ L2 / L3 or C&G L2 / L3 or equivalent
  • CSCS card
  • SMSTS/SSSTS (Preferred but not essential)
  • First Aid (Preferred but not essential)
  • Asbestos awareness (Preferred but not essential) This role could suit someone working as: Multi-Trader, Multi Tradesman, Multi Skilled Trades Person, Carpentry Foreman, Interior Fit Out Supervisor, Site Foreman, Construction Foreman, Site Supervisor, Carpenter, Joiner, Shop Fitter, Shop Fitter Supervisor, Multi Skilled Tradesman, Multi Skilled Builder or similar This role is commutable from: Newark, Grantham, Lincoln, North Lincolnshire, South Holland district in Lincoln, Nottingham, Worksop, Sheffield, Loughborough, Doncaster & areas close to these specified
