We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Shift Technician to join our team on our Public Sector contract. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to exciting projects, progressions opportunities and even more.

Location: Hendon, NW9

Contract & hours: Permanent, full time – 12-hour shift rota 4 days on/off 4 nights on/off basis

  • 4 days (6am to 6pm) worked, with 4 days off then

  • 4 nights (6pm to 6am) worked, with 4 nights off – then back to Days on & repeat


Responsibilities

As a focused and reactive Multi-Skilled Technician, you will deliver a combination of electrical, plumbing, and building fabric Planned (PPM), Reactive and Extra Works engineering services, to a high-profile client building. You will be assisting in ensuring Kier deliver a safe, customer focused, cost effective, efficient, and compliant service in order to meet its contractual and legal obligations.

Your day to day will include:

  • Completing works such as tap testing, flushing & fixing, legionella tests, pump/compressor fault diagnosis

  • Assessing plant equipment, emergency lighting, fuses, desk management, HVAC, AHU’s & compressors maintenance

  • Other general maintenance works within your abilities such as minor fabric, electric, plumbing & heating repairs


Who are we looking for?

This role of Multi-Skilled Technician is great for you if you:

  • Are competent in general engineer works, with a multi-skilled background or bias towards mechanical, plumbing, or electrical trades with relevant qualifications

  • Have Working At Height, PASMA, IPAF certification, L8 Legionella awareness, F-Gas qualifications, or have a valid Government Security Check (SC) Clearance

  • Have experience within a commercial building or facilities management environment, with the ability to conduct a variety of building & facilities maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: electrics & lighting, water & plumbing, HVAC, AHUs & compressors


This is a Multi-Skilled Shift Electrician position with 12-hours per shift, on a 4 days on/off 4 nights on/off basis. You should also be prepared to go through a Government SC Clearance before working onsite.
