AWE is currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Operative, who can assist with operations in accordance with relevant Security, Safety, Efficiency and Quality regulations.

Location– Coulport, nr Helensburgh (Scotland)

The Role:

Key Accountabilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to ensure that all processing and handling operations are completed within programme restrictions
  • Work within approved operating procedures, safety cases and legislative requirements
  • Identify any areas of concern or serious shortcomings which affect operations to Line Manager
  • Ensure adherence to the regulations laid down in relevant company Procedural Guides, Work Instructions and Safe Systems of work relevant to the work area
  • Comply with all safety, environmental, fire, quality, security standards, regulations and legislation and highlight non-compliance to Line Manager
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health security and quality and be a great team player
  • More specific details will be provided at time of appointment

Candidates will be expected to have previous experience working and adhering to company and legislative procedures, working in a manufacturing or processing environment. Someone with a background of working within a warehouse/logistics environment is likely to be suitable. The role will involve using forklifts and cranes and therefore a relevant qualification is preferable however candidates must be willing and able to undertake training and certification.

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
