Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer?

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading and growing manufacturer, operating on a fixed afternoon shift pattern.

You will be part of a Maintenance team who strive for world-class practices to ensure maximum machine efficiency & reliability. Reporting to a Maintenance Manager, you will be kept busy responding to breakdowns and conducting planned preventative maintenance.

Role Duties

  • Ensuring that all H&S requirements are met.
  • Providing both Reactive & PPM on fast-paced production equipment
  • Seeking root cause and providing long-term solutions wherever feasible
  • Working within a team of Maintenance Technicians to complete tasks on a variety of machinery throughout departments.
  • Maintenance on a variety of machinery within their fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Fault Finding both mechanically and electrically.

Requirements

  • Time-served or appropriate mechanical / electrical qualification e.g. BTEC, NVQ L3, HNC, HND
  • Experience within a manufacturing / production environment.
  • Electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
  • Experience of working with PLC’s, AC and DC Motors and drives
  • Experience or working on Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
