We are looking for a Multi Skilled Facilities Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our Facilities department.
The main purpose of the job is effective and efficient delivery of all facilities services to the NT through both planned and reactive maintenance.
This role carries out routine Lamping, cleaning, maintenance and replacement of plant and other consumable items and assists Engineers where required. You will also provide assistance to all Trades/Crafts/ Apprentices as directed by your Supervisor. This role is also responsible for carrying out weekly flushing and temperature tests following the latest L8 Legionella Testing and Compliance Guidance, ensuring Management Log is kept up to date. This role also assists with the building familiarisation for new members of staff and liaises with National Theatre personnel, contractors and visitors to assist in the smooth running of events.
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant Qualifications/ apprenticeship
- Relevant previous experience in Building services
- Relevant experience working in a multi-functional building i.e. Theatre, workshop, restaurants, Server rooms
- Relevant Multi skilled experience (Range of experience)
- Previous experience looking after contractors
