Reporting to the Contract Manager theMulti-Skilled Engineer will be responsible for undertaking various planned and reactive tasks, from complex repairs to the resolution of minor plumbing issues. Due to the nature of the sites you will be required to work security vetting for this position is essential.

Location: Mobile - Scotland ( Central Belt)
Hours of Work: 40 hours (Monday to Friday)
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent
The Multi-Skilled Engineer shall:
  • Work as part of the Graham FM Team with responsibility for the completion of pre-planned maintenance to mechanical & electrical plant and building fabric systems including but not limited to emergency lighting, AHU’s, FCU’s
  • Completion of reactive and remedial repairs as directed by the Graham Helpdesk to either, plumbing installations, heating installations, ventilation systems or any required minor building fabric repairs dependent on relevant experience
  • Have the ability to meet with a variety of clients to represent the company and remain courteous and professional at all times
  • Have sufficient knowledge of the current IET wiring regulations ensuing all works meet the requirements of the current IET wiring regulations
  • Undertake a range of installation and completion tasks including but not limited to single and three phase low voltage distribution cabling and equipment, steel and PVC trunking/tray/conduit containment, final circuit cabling, second fix final termination of wiring accessories, data networking, HVCA controls, fault finding, inspection & testing
  • Accurate completion and timely submission company documentation (hard copy or electric) as required per contract
  • Utilise PDA or electronic devices to complete works
  • Use own imitative to solve complicated technical problems associated with minor works activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support
  • Observe the highest levels of health & safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure best possible working practices
  • Provide regular out-of-hours cover on a rota system

About You

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ or City & Guilds in one of the following: HVAC/AC/Gas/Plumbing/Mechanical/Electrical
  • Hold a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to planned, reactive and remedial maintenance.
  • Current Full UK Driver’s License
  • Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card

Desirable Criteria

  • IOSH – Working safely or CSCS Card
  • CSR/CSCS H&S qualification or equivalent
  • FGAS 2079
  • Mechanical qualifications - Unvented Systems, Legionella Awareness, Gas Safe Registration
  • IT Skills – in the use of PDA’s
  • Asbestos awareness training
  • High Voltage awareness training
