The Solutions Investment team is responsible for designing and managing multi-asset portfolios, deploying capabilities ranging from strategic to tactical asset allocation, derivative overlays, and liability-aware investing (ALM). The Multi Asset Portfolio Manager will: Be responsible for day-to-day management of multi-asset portfolios: Implement strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies in custom insurance and pension portfolios, model portfolios and discretionary mandates, across securities, derivatives and internal fund teams and external funds Contribute to the team’s investment research agenda: Develop strategies to enhance returns and manage risk, such as asset allocation and security-level optimization to improve liability matching, reduce capital cost, deliver income or reduce volatility. What you can bring: We will be looking for you to bring strong experience working as a Portfolio Manager. You will have experience managing custom portfolios for insurance clients, experience of systematic and factor trading strategies and local UK market knowledge. Our Portfolio Manager for this team will bring experience on cross-border mandates for Germany, France, Italy and US clients, a solid understanding of managing liquidity across multi-component portfolios and experience working with derivatives to isolate the investment view, including for hedging purposes. Excellent ability to translate abstract principles into systematic algorithmic representations, particularly using Python, R, VBA and/or BQNT and strong attention to detail is key. We are looking for a strong team player who has strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and internal business functions.
