Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship Level 3Protyre is looking for passionate and dedicated candidates who are looking to train and become competent Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technicians carrying out tyre fitting, tyre repairs and mechanical repairs on a variety of cars and light vehicles.We are a fast-growing national automotive company offering superb training and development opportunities. We are currently seeking a Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician Apprentice to work on a full time, permanent basis for our growing team.As a Protyre Apprentice, you will work alongside an experienced team, maintaining and repairing customers vehicles. Reporting to the Centre Manager you will undertake a structured training program of study in conjunction with workshop/practical experience.Your ResponsibilitiesObserve, learn, and understand a wide range of skills and processes (Inspection, Servicing, Maintenance, Diagnosing both electrical and mechanical) while under the instruction of skilled technical staffDemonstrate these skills and processes as the training period progresses by working independently or with a team, to undertake tasks as instructed and increasing overall contribution to the CentreUndertake and successfully complete suitable college courses throughout the training period, achieving the academic grades and practical skills to entitle yearly progression and suitable qualifications/competency in the automotive environmentAdministration and customer service dutiesAbout YouNo prerequisite experience required but a demonstrable interest in vehicles or mechanical engineering through school or hobby interestsA good understanding of English instructions and able to demonstrate general analytical and mechanical skills
