Job description

We are working with a lovely creative agency based in Brighton, that is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer/Animator to join their growing creative team. We are looking for an experienced Motion Designer with over 4 years’ of agency or in-house studio experience, to join their collaborative team. You will be working on a range of virtual events and digital content for healthcare brands. This is a permanent role paying a salary of up to £40k (DOE) and you will be working on-site in their Brighton office for at least 4 days, with 1 day from home.

They are a strong medium-sized business with over 15 years of experience delivering innovative digital content and experiences for their clients.

The Role

This is an exciting role offering the end-to-end involvement in a great variety of projects doing everything from storyboarding to graphic design and asset creation to video editing and animating, 3D modelling and more.

You will report into and work closely with the Creative Director, splitting your time between design and animation work, creating innovative and compelling multi-channel content from virtual 3D experiences and events, webinars, interactive video content to Mode of Action animations. Your responsibilities will include storyboarding, creating style frames, 2D and 3D animation/motion graphics, 3D modelling, video editing, graphic design, data visualisation, 3D environments and much more!

As a Motion Graphics Designer, you are an integral part of the creative team, working closely with the team, Account and Project Managers.

About You

  • More than 4 years of experience in a similar role ideally in an agency environment
  • Strong motion graphics design background with a mix of graphic and digital design
  • Extensive video and animation experience using After Effects and Premiere
  • Experienced working with typography/graphics in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and XD
  • For 3D modelling and animation, strong Cinema 4D skills
  • A portfolio of well designed motion graphics and graphic design work
  • Examples of storyboards and style frames
  • Good eye for detail and consistency
  • Used to working in a busy agency environment
  • Good time management and ability to be flexible
