Due to continued success, this award winning business is now looking for a Mortgage Underwriter to join their progressive yet established mortgages team.

Working closely with the Underwriting Manager, you’re duties will include:

  • Liaising with mortgage intermediaries, customers and third parties in relation to the assessment of a mortgage applications
  • Assess and approve or decline application for mortgages, further advances and transfers of equity
  • Producing mortgage offers and associated administration
  • Reviewing and continually developing underwriting processes and ensuring they are compliant
  • Liaising with internal departments in regards to lending decisions
To be considered for this rare opportunity, you will have:-

  • Mortgages experience, some of which has been within an underwriting environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A Cemap qualification
  • The ability to work independently as well as a wider team
