Job Title: Mobile Specialist Cleaning Technician/ High Level Cleaning

Location: Various West Cumbria Locations

Hours: 30 hours per week Mon-Fri 6 hours daily, flexible times

Rate of Pay: £11.30 per hour

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To effectively deliver a range of general cleaning and specialist cleaning services duties across an area, ensuring high standards are delivered safely and within budget. Be a key member of the team and ensure that long-term relationships are strengthened with the client

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

General and Specialist Cleaning

· Travel to, and work from, any of the sites in your ‘area’ as support is required. These requests may be made with very short notice, so flexibility is key

· Identify opportunities for profitable growth and development of the service offering to existing sites, and any new opportunities arising in your area

· Report any building and cleaning equipment repairs (e.g., damaged fences; broken guttering; cracks in walls etc.)

· Deliver specialist cleaning activity including high level, deep cleaning carpet cleaning, fogging and decontamination cleans as requested

· Deliver a range of general FM services on client sites including, but not restricted to, porterage, janitorial and caretaking duties, security of buildings at client sites/buildings as requested/required

· Cleaning of internal and external areas within/around properties as designated (inc. leaves, litter, drains, gulley’s etc.)

· Complete and maintain relevant records (e.g., timesheets etc.) accurately and on time

· Use cleaning machinery including floor buffers, steam cleaners and carpet cleaners

· Undertake cleaning and stocking duties as required, to meet the site needs (e.g., dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)

Customer Service

· Build great relationships with your team/colleagues and your customers

· Ensure work is completed to an agreed schedule and to required standards

· Liaise closely with other areas of the business (e.g., Orian Property Services, Health and Safety) to enable tasks to be completed for the customers that meet, or exceed, their expectations

· Have a clear understanding of customer service guidelines/principles

Health, Safety and Environment

· Meet all statutory and regulatory compliance within the maintenance of the sites we have on our portfolio

· Act responsibly in relation to all matters which may affect the Health and Safety of yourselves and others whilst on Company premises, customers’ premises and travelling between sites, and to adhere to safety regulations at all times

· Observe all safety procedures and instructions and assist in maintaining a safe workplace and reporting any accidents, hazards, near misses, damages or defects to tools and equipment to the appropriate person

· Wear appropriate protective equipment (PPE) and use any safety devices provided by the company at the relevant times

· Be responsible for the security and safety of the premises; fire exits are clear and working; being a key holder and opening/locking the building as required

· Use cleaning materials and tools provided and adhere to COSHH regulations

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential: Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety and its relevance to the workplace

Valid Driving Licence

Desirable: Experience of operating in an FM or cleaning environment
