Outgoing person with good people skills, fit, hard working and a team player needed for Miller’s Ark Animals Mobile Farm near Hook, Hampshire. We are a small friendly team, passionate about our farm and sharing it with people.

Most days will be leaving the farm between 6.30 and 8.30am (back on average between 4pm -5pm) driving a 4x4 and trailer, and you will take friendly farm animals to schools, nurseries, residential homes and bigger events. The work is immensely rewarding, as our clients are excited to interact in an educational or therapeutic way with the animals. You need a full clean driving licence and will be taught to drive a livestock trailer.

Some days will be on the farm itself maintaining the animals and their care, or assisting on our public open days and other on-farm events.

No experience is necessary, as you will learn day by day on and off the farm, but a background in teaching, education or presentation is welcome.

You will need to be a good communicator with individuals and groups, intelligent, responsible, a good time manager and able to show initiative even under pressure. A positive and flexible disposition and a willingness to engage with people and animals is vital.

You will take the mobile farm out on your own on most occasions and will need to be willing to work 5 days on a rota including weekends.
