We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join our team. Covering the Central and West region of Scotland, you will be working across multiple sites per day. You will be part of a small team and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Full support and training will be provided and although challenging, the role is equally rewarding and individual effort is recognised.

The role of Electrician will include:

  • Inspecting and testing of occupied properties, ensuring safety and compliance
  • Replacing Socket Faces, Light fittings, Fused Spurs, Immerser Elements etc - all minor/jobbing works,
  • Carrying out Minor Works, Maintaining electrical installations in tenanted properties, ranging from accessory changes, fault finding to partial/full rewires
  • Completing all paperwork and producing certification associated with works undertaken
  • Monitoring and maintaining good levels of van stock and ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a suitable condition

Skills and experiences:

  • Recent experience undertaking a similar role within a construction, building or maintenance background
  • City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3 or relevant experience as an Electrician 18th Edition essential
  • Current Certificate to BS2391 or equivalent standard in testing and inspection
  • Ability to analyse and diagnose problems and implement effective solutions
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills along with a customer focused approach
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with fast changing requirements
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,059.00-£46,371.00 per year
