Our client is a household name in the industry and is seeking time-served MIG Welders to work in their factory in Stockton-on-Tees. The Caterpillar Building Construction Products’ fabrication facility at Stockton uses the latest technology to cut, weld and machine all the major structures for use at the assembly plant at Leicester.

With plenty of overtime available, you can maximise your earnings in time for the festive period. Overtime is paid at time and half Monday to Saturday and double time on a Sunday!

Pay Rate And Working Hours
  • Days £15.92 per hour / £29,802.24 per annum
  • Backs £19.10 per hour / £35,755.20 per annum
  • Night £20.22 per hour / £37851.84 per annum
  • Overtime Monday to Saturday £23.88 per hour
  • Overtime Sunday £31.84 per hour
  • Three shift pattern, shifts do not rotate but you must be flexible to work any shift.
  • 06:45AM - 15:00PM (Mon - Thur) 6.45AM - 12.45PM (Fri)
  • 14:45PM - 23:00PM (Mon - Thur) 10.45AM - 16.45PM (Fri)
  • 22:45PM - 07:00AM (Mon - Thur) 16.30PM - 22.30PM (Fri)
  • Part time option available
Responsibilities
  • Work on build/weld fixtures to tight tolerances
  • Work under own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Follow a standard work procedure/housekeeping
  • Carry out some manual lifting
  • Use overhead cranes
  • Jig work
  • Adhering to PPE requirements and standards in place.
Requirements
  • Previous experience of MIG Welding
  • Time Served Welder
  • Relevant NVQ Level 3
