JOB LOCATION: CLITHEROE

CONTRACT: FULL-TIME

SALARY £30-£40,000 (DEPENDENT UPON EXPERIENCE)

Cadac Leisure Ltd t/a Cadac UK is looking to recruit a permanent merchandise and logistics planner to their small, dedicated team.

As a merchandise and logistics planner you will become a direct point of contact for our office in China, responsible for forecasting demand, preparing factory orders, working with freight forwarders, delivering the required volumes of product on schedule to our warehouse in Worksop.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting product demand.
  • Processing and scheduling factory orders on our ERP system.
  • To understand all internal procedures and operate these appropriately.
  • Coordinating freight forwarders to deliver factory orders on time to our warehouse.
  • Reviewing trade orders relative to the factory orders and tracking potential demand reacting accordingly.
  • Managing the warranty process gives the insight on how to improve products and the supply chain.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role.

Skills we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to effectively manage your own workload.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment whilst displaying close attention to detail.
  • A confident user of office-based IT systems, with expert EXCEL skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with suppliers and colleagues with a positive, communicative, helpful mindset.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, taking full end to end ownership of the forecasting, supply chain and logistics using your own initiative and available resources.
  • Enthusiastic team player who enjoys collaborating and working as a collective.
  • Desire and ability to develop and improve technical knowledge.

Experienced required:

  • At least 3 years’ experience of working within demanding merchandising and logistics roles.
  • Experience of working within a busy office environment.
  • Experience of balancing administrative duties whilst responding to telephone and email enquiries.
