Job Description: Medication Auditor & Training Coordinator

Responsible To: Care Manager

We require an organised and committed individual with a professional approach, to join our team and support the manager in all aspects of care home management especially in leading and performing medication audits and training.

The Coordinator will report to the Registered Manager and is responsible for delivering high standards of care in accordance with company policies and procedures and all CQC regulatory requirements.

This includes the efficient and effective auditing and training of staff and clients pertaining to all areas of medication health and safety. A high standard of written English and Computer based skills is needed. This role has a requirement to accurately document, update and maintain company information and records on a weekly and monthly basis, to a clear standard that will satisfy external governing bodies. Paperwork and computer records will include care plans and medication documentation. A good understanding of Regulatory Compliance and the ability to demonstrate delivery of a quality service. A good understanding of the role of CQC as an industry regulatory auditor and as an advisory body. Knowledge and experience in health and medication related fields is important.

Duties will include visiting client sites and reviewing/auditing all documentation such as mar charts, daily logs, support plans and liaising with all stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliance. Training of staff is an important duty to ensure their skills and knowledge are fir for purpose.

You will lead from the front and set exceptional examples of professionalism in all aspects of administration and management. This is the perfect role for an experienced individual with a background in auditing and training with specific knowledge of medication health and safety.

Salary: £15k - £23k pa

Working Hours: 24 - 30 hours from Monday - Friday between 9am to 5pm
